Handmade, hand-knotted Oriental Persian Roodbar Hamadan Rug (also known as Rudbar). These authentic Persian Carpets come from the outlying villages surrounding Roodbar which is within the greater Hamadan region of north west Persia. This traditional Hamadan Roodbar Rug measures approximately 104x158cm (3.5 x 5.2ft) - we love the central medallion and the cream background together with the pretty pinks and reds. These rugs usually have geometric designs but occasionally will have an all over pattern and are usually woven with a hand spun wool pile with cotton warps giving a good strong and robust rug that will last for many years.
