These Red Aq Chah Afghan rugs are woven using rich red wools and generally woven in Northern Afghanistan in the region of Aq Chah as well as in the border regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. A 100% newly hand-made wool mat. The fringes (warp) are normally grey wool or grey cotton. These authentic rugs are strong, sturdy and practical and normally feature the traditional "elephant's foot" Bokhara design - they are great value for money.
