Suzani Cushion Cover from Uzbekistan - Hand embroidered on rust coloured cotton background with embroidered motifs - has a beige reverse with zip.  Made from an authentic vintage Suzani embroidery and measuring approximately 44x44cm.  Perfect for a splash of colour on your sofa or chair, creating a timeless tribal interior for your living room.  

Suzani means needlepoint in Farsi and the background fabric of these textiles is usually either cotton, velvet, silk or satin with silk embroidery.  Often pen is used as a marker for layout before embroidery starts and occasionally one can see some of the original pen outline which is normal for original pieces.
