A long decorative hand stitched old Turkoman textile band fragment. This would have been part of a longer piece - its very decorative and is quite old so a little delicate in places but very intriguing, it has feather lucky charms and is a patchwork of ikat fabrics together with an old floral backing. This vintage fabric would likely have been used in a yurt to decorate a doorway. This piece measures approximately 16cm drop by 177cm length excluding the tassels - we love the quirky character this old textile has.
