Zeigler refers to the design rather than the people that weave these hand knotted rugs and carpets. These types of rugs are re-creations of antique Oriental designs and they use wools with attractive colours and tones. Designs can be antique looking all over designs in either floral or geometric patterns. 100% hand-woven by Afghan people with soft hand spun wool pile - the wool used in these rugs is often good quality, although it can vary with chinese and indian reproductions; our Afghan Ziegler's have gorgeous soft wool quality.
