Zilli Weave Turkish Hand-woven village made Kilim (Kelim) from Usak - West Turkey - this area has been renowned for many years for its kilim weaving traditions and they still make new rugs in this region. Kilim Rugs from Usak normally have geometric or striped patterns with hand-spun wool - this piece has a central motif with zilli weft wrapping weave in wool throughout. This unique Kelim Rug from Turkey measures approx 113cm wide by 178cm long - this is a one of a kind, semi antique rug ie c. 1970s.
