The Usak region of Turkey has been famous for many years for its kilim weaving traditions and they still make new rugs in this region. Kilim Rugs from Esme normally have geometric or striped patterns using hand-spun wool and are renowned for their Mihrab, geometric designs and beautiful colours. These older, original pieces are popular as they have so much individuality. This unique Kelim rug from Turkey measures approx 94cm wide by 154cm long and is woven in wool on cotton.
