Handmade, hand-knotted Long Oriental Persian Chenar Carpet Runner Rug for corridors, hallways, passageways, or narrow spaces.
These authentic Persian hallway runners come from the outlying villages surrounding Chenar which is within the greater Hamadan region of north west Persia and usually have geometric designs but occasionally will have an all over pattern.
This traditional long and narrow Hamadan corridor Runner measures approximately 85cm wide by 329cm (2.9½ x 10.9½ft) long woven with an attractive cream background around the central medallions.
Carpet Runners such as this are usually woven with hand spun wool pile with cotton warps giving a good strong and robust rug that will last for many years.
