This Afghan rug measures approximately 102x153cm (3.4 x 5ft) excluding any fringes - we rarely find Aq Chah rugs in mixed colours like this as they are normally red and black only, but this one has the most beautiful turquoise centre. These Red Aq Chah Afghan rugs are woven using rich red wools and generally woven in Northern Afghanistan in the region of Aq Chah as well as in the border regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
