An authentic handwoven vintage Turkish Selendi flatweave wool kilim rug measuring approx 167x293cm (5.5½ x 9.7½ft) excluding any tassels - we love great value this large kilim is together with its pretty stripe pattern. Selendi is a town and district of Manisa Province in the Aegean region of Turkey in the West. Selendi Rugs usually incorporate a stripe (mostly in kilim runners) or a geometric square design using a weaving technique known as zilli or cicim which is where the flat weave kilim is then over embroidered.
