Long and narrow Oriental Persian Mashad Baluch Runner Rug for hallways, corridors or narrow spaces. These Baluchi Rugs are woven in the villages in the eastern Baluchistan region of North East Persia bordering with West Afghanistan and are traditional hand-knotted rugs normally featuring geometric patterns. This traditional Persian runner rug from Mashad measures approx 51x359cm (1.8 x 11.9ft) - this is a very very rare narrow size, normally they are not this narrow especially when they are so long!

Normally wool pile on wool or cotton warps using good quality wool, these classic traditional rugs are finely woven and as a general rule have rich reds, terracottas, creams, chocolates and burnt orange colour ways.
