These rugs are strong, sturdy and practical with the traditional "elephant's foot" Bokhara design and are good value for money. These narrow Afghan rugs are woven using rich red wools and generally woven in Northern Afghanistan in the region of Aq Chah as well as in the border regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. 100% authentic and hand made with a wool pile; the fringes (warp) are normally grey wool or grey or off white cotton.
