This vintage Kilim Runner from Turkey measures approximately 62x239cm (2.0½ x 4.6½ft) excluding any fringes - we love the nice muted old look this pretty striped runner has together with the ochres, oranges and greens. Acipayam is a town and a rural district of Denizli Province in the high country between the Aegean and Mediterranean regions western of Turkey - these Kilims are woven by Turkmen Yoruk tribes - the descendants of the Turkic tribes that settled in Anatolia hundreds of years ago.
