Original handmade Turkish Acipayam kilim runner (Kelim) rug - an authentic rug for a long narrow hallway or corridor.  Flatwoven by hand using flatweave Kilim technique. This vintage Kilim Runner from Turkey measures approximately 65x262cm (2.1½ x 8.7ft) excluding any tassels - we love these runners, they are great looking and have pretty colours and they are generally narrow which is useful if you have a narrow corridor. Acipayam is a town and a rural district of Denizli Province in the high country between the Aegean and Mediterranean regions western of Turkey - these Kilims are woven by Turkmen Yoruk tribes - the descendants of the Turkic tribes that settled in Anatolia hundreds of years ago.
