Handmade, hand-knotted Oriental Persian Tajabad Rug. These authentic Persian Carpets come from the outlying villages surrounding Tajabad which is within the greater Hamadan region of north west Persia. This traditional Hamadan Rug measures approximately 107x164cm (3.6 x 5.4½ft) - we love the different shades of pinks and reds used in this rug. These rugs usually have geometric designs but occasionally will have an all over pattern and are usually woven with a hand spun wool pile with cotton warps giving a good strong and robust rug that will last for many years.
