Turkish Hand-woven Kilim from Antalya, Southern Turkey - this traditional kilim rug is an original semi-antique nomadic piece circa 1970s. Woven in wool on wool. This small hand-woven Turkish Kilim measures approx 92x134cm (3 x 4.8ft) - we love the amazing soft ochre and purple colour combination in this kilim. This area is renowned for its excellent kilim weaving traditions and beautiful kilims have been produced in this region for many years. Wool kilims from this area use fine, hand-spun wool and the colours are likely to have soft terracotta's, ochre's and burnt oranges but generally softer colour ways with geometric designs.
