Original large Turkish Hand-woven village made Kilim from Isparta which is in the the Antalya region of Southern Turkey. This kilim has a simple design full of motifs and emblems in traditional colours such as terracottas, reds, oranges and greens - this traditional kilim rug from Turkey is a nomadic semi-antique piece and measures approximately 182x339cm (5.11½ X 11.1½ft). Woven in wool.
This area is renowned for its excellent kilim weaving traditions. Wool kilims from this region use fine, hand-spun wool and the colours are likely to have soft terracotta's, ochre's and burnt oranges but generally softer colour ways with geometric designs.
