Beautiful Tribal Afghan Baluchi carpet saddlebag from Afghanistan. Originally used for storage and also during tribal migration, however today they make great storage either over a chair or on the wall. They also make lovely wall hangings. This carpet Afghan saddlebag measures approximately 48x115cm excluding tassels - we love this one, it has the most gorgeous soft wool. 

Saddlebags feature two kilim or carpet pouches and can vary in size from small like this one to very large sizes - the large sizes would be the ones used over animals for transporting items.
