• Turkish Kilim from Alara a small town in the Fethiye region of Southern Anatolia
• Authentically woven using a Flatweave Wool Kilim technique as well as incorporating decorative motifs in cicim weft wrapping in soft beige, red and blues.
• This large size Vintage Kilim from Turkey measures approximately 175cm wide by 268cm long.
• Fethiye is in the southern part of Turkey where the Yoruk nomads would migrate between summer and winter pastures.
• This is an individual, one off Kilim which is semi antique ie approx 30 to 40 years of age.
