Long Handmade, Oriental Persian Mahal Carpet Runner Rug for corridors, hallways, passageways, or narrow spaces - hand-knotted using a wool pile and cotton warps - a truly authentic and traditional weaving technique.
These authentic Oriental Hallway Rugs generally have an all over design making them very elegant and would work well in both a traditional and contemporary home - the designs are generally quite intricate and free flowing.
Mahal corridor carpet rugs come from an area called Sultanabad, now known under the name Arak which is a major weaving centre of west central Persia.
This Mahal Runner measures approximately 88cm wide by 429cm (2.10x14.1ft) long and is woven using predominately blue wool.
