Authentic and unique handmade Turkish Kilim (Kelim) Runner Rug from Fethiye the Mediterranean region of southern Turkey. Flat woven by hand using traditional flatweave technique together with some cicim weft wrapping in some of the motifs; generally good quality wool is used in these Kilims - the weaver has used soft and pale wools with a stripe pattern. This is an original semi-antique piece c.1970s; the perfect long and narrow rug for a corridor or hallway. This hand-woven Kilim Runner Rug from Turkey measures approximately 76x260cm (2.6 x 8.6½ft) - we love the soft greens and natural undyed wool used in this rug.

Fethiye is in the southern part of Turkey where the Yoruk nomads would migrate between summer and winter pastures. It is also now a popular tourist resort and is famous for its ancient Lycian ruins.
