9614 Persian Kurdi Gouchan Carpet 187x316cm (6.1½ x 10.4½ft)

Gorgeous Large Kurdi Ghouchan (Quchan) Persian Carpet from the north east Khorasan Province of Persia, south of the Turkmenistan border.  These authentic nomadic, hand-knotted weavings have really lovely soft and shiny wool and fabulous reds, they stand out from the rest!  They typically have geometric Turkoman designs, in some cases not too dissimilar to Baluch designs, and are hand-knotted wool on wool.  This Oriental handmade Kurdi Ghouchan Rug measures approximately 187x316cm (6.1½ x 10.4½ft) - we love the all over design and warm reds and terracotta colours.  These Kurdish weavings are semi-antique pieces and have lots of character, they are very sought after and we don't often find them.
