• Beautiful, vibrant Semi-Antique finely woven Persian Hand-knotted Baluchi Prayer Rug.
• These Baluchi Rugs are woven in the villages in the eastern Baluchistan region of North East Persia bordering with West Afghanistan.
• Traditional rugs with geometric motifs occasionally having fine detailed kilim ends - generally these rugs tend to be woven in smaller sizes only.
• Normally wool pile on wool warps and wefts using good quality wool.
• Approximately early to mid 20th century - gorgeous colours - very fine work in prayer design.
• As these rugs are semi-antique they may not be in mint condition, some of the fringes may not be perfect (see images), however this is part of the charm of buying an older rug - lots more character!
• This Small Persian Baluch Rug measures approximately 89cm wide by 143cm long.
