This traditional kilim rug is an original semi-antique village piece and is woven in the traditional kilim flat slit weave technique. The Antalya region is renowned for its excellent kilim weaving traditions and beautiful kilims have been produced in this region for many years. Wool kilims from this area use fine, hand-spun wool and the colours are likely to have soft terracotta's, ochre's and burnt oranges but generally softer colour ways with geometric designs.
