A traditional flat woven Turkish wool Kilim Rug that has been handmade in a village near the town of Esme, in Turkey's Western Usak Province. The Usak region of Turkey has been famous for many years for its flat woven rugs and its folk art kilim weaving traditions and they still make new rugs in this region.  Kilim Rugs from Esme normally have geometric or striped patterns using hand-spun wool and are renowned for their Mihrab, geometric designs and beautiful colours.  These older, original pieces are popular as they have so much individuality.
