Small Afghan Kilim Rug - a unique traditional hand-woven flat weave from Afghanistan (also spelt Kelim rug). Handmade using natural plant and vegetable dyes giving lots of character in the variegation of the colours that are produced by natural dyes. This new wool Kilim measures approximately 80x117cm (2.7½ x 3.10ft) - excludes tassels - we love the multicolours and classic design in this small rug. The patterns used on these flat weave Rugs is that of the Shirvan design which originates from the eastern Caucasus and has been adopted by Afghan weavers for many years.  These strong and sturdy authentic kilims are excellent value for money and are extremely popular with our customers - one of these gorgeous rugs will make a great addition to your interior design!
