Original Hand-knotted Afghan Moshwani Runner for Hallways from Afghanistan - a practical, long and narrow Hall Carpet Rug.  A newly made individual piece measuring approximately 77x367cm (2.6 x 12.0½ft) - we love the red and blue diamond design in this long runner.

These authentic carpet runners come in rich terracottas, reds and earthy colours and are perfect for Hallways.  Traditionally made by the Baluchi tribal group who would migrate through the region of West Afghanistan.  These Moshwani Afghan rugs have multiple weaving techniques in that the background is made with handwoven weft wrapping soumak kilim flat weave and other areas are made from a hand-knotted wool pile.  Handmade in 100% Wool on Wool.  See more about Rug Motifs, Symbols & Meaning here.
