Acipayam is a town and a rural district of Denizli Province in the high country between the Aegean and Mediterranean regions western of Turkey - these Kilims are woven by Turkmen Yoruk tribes - the descendants of the Turkic tribes that settled in Anatolia hundreds of years ago.  Each of our Kilim Rugs are individual and no two are the same - all our Turkish Acipayam Kilims are semi-antique pieces and make great, functional and decorative interior floor coverings.
