Coming into Brighton on the A23 – past Preston Park, which will be on the left.

The road turns into a one way road bearing left – keep in the right hand lane and keep on going under viaduct stay in the right hand lane to traffic lights (Duke of Yorks cinema and fire station will be on the left).

At these lights turn right (not back on yourself), keep going short distance past shops to next set of lights and then turn left (into New England Street).

Keep going straight on (tall building of apartments will be on either side) continue on this road which bears left to some more traffic lights. 

At these lights turn right into Whitecross Street.  Continue to T junction (off licence facing you), turn right but then immediately left into Tidy Street which is a one way street – it bears right past pub “The Brighton Tavern”, Yashar Bish is just past this on the corner on the right. 

For a quick visit you may be lucky to pull up on yellow lines.  Beware of the traffic wardens though. Or for parking, I suggest parking in one of the car parks on Blackman Street or Whitecross Street (just before turning into T junction and then to Tidy Street).
